Alhóndiga de Granaditas

From 04 Guanajuato
Interesting part of Mexican history. Google it.

The tour guide explaining the history of the place was very informative and very serious. When some Mexican hipsters were talking during his speech, I felt like in high school when some kids were disrespecing a nerdy teacher you liked. When they left the tour early, he went on a rant about why that was the reason that Mexico was last in education. (I thought that it was the US.) Then he went off on all the people that go to the Museum of Mummies they have here, instead of studying the Alhóndiga de Granaditas, where the real history was.

The Spanish dangled Hidalgo's head from a hook as a lesson to anyone else that wanted independence.
